DESCRIPTION:Discover the latest collab between Nevel Artisan Ales (Nijmegen) and Dok Brewing Company (Ghent) at a dinner in De Gebrande Winning in Sint-Truiden. Kwiek is a wild gose brewed with mugwort and angelica root\, and spent 5 months aging on wooden barrels. We serve the collab and 2 other beer of each brewery with a 5-course dinner. Cherf Raf Sainte pairs them with the exquisite dishes following the approach that made De Gebrande Winning the world's best beer location.

DESCRIPTION:Binnenkort trekken we onze lederhosen en dirndls aan om samen Oktoberfest te vieren in Hal 16. Waar kan je je aan verwachten? Voor de gelegenheid brouwden we samen met The ministry of Belgian beer een märzen voor jullie. Duitse mouten\, de welbekende (pils)gist van Weihenstephaner\, een oud maischschema en een heel koude vergisting\, kortweg niets werd gespaard om de stijl volledig uit te puren. RØK maakt ontbeende kip klaar op de barbecue. Boef voorziet jullie van de voordehandliggende pretzels en braadworsten.\n\nVoor het event is er een gepast glas (0\,5l) voorzien. Zij die in gepaste kledij komen krijgen dit glas volledig gratis\, anders komt het neer op €3 voor een glas. Wie reserveert op voorhand krijgt een gratis pretzel.

DESCRIPTION:Dive into Brussels’ brewing past and future with Eoghan Walsh from Brussels Beer City and BBP brewer Sam Fleet while tasting our contemporary version of a 1920’s Scotch ale\, and two more Brussels-inspired BBP brews. "Brussels was doing craft style beer long before it was cool. In the year 1900 you could have drunk Lambic\, faro gauze\, pale ale\, brown beer\, scotch ale\, stout\, Munich lager\, bohemian lager\, bock.” We re-created together a myth-busting beer to launch Eoghan's book "Brussels Beer City: Stories from Brussels' Brewing Past". Join us at the brewery in Dansaert to taste this strong\, bitter\, fruity\, golden\, in your face brew\, together with a fresh interpretation of a Belgian Pils and a barrel-aged turbid-mash pale ale.

SUMMARY:Extinction party - going out with a boom!
DESCRIPTION:I have been staring at the screen for days\, trying to write an announcement that I wish I didn't have to... It was supposed to be the shop's first anniversary this month\, but instead\, I had to make the decision to close it. Many of my friends in the beer industry are struggling\, I know I'm not the only one... but it doesn't make it any easier. My conscience is clear because I did everything in my power to save the shop\, but now it's time to let it go. It's hard because it's my baby. I poured my heart and soul in it and I enjoyed every moment of this crazy ride while it lasted. I have no idea what new adventure life has for me after this\, but I'm sure you'll be hearing from me again! I'd like to invite all of you to empty the fridge and have a chat and a beer at the shop for one last time.\nIt won't be a real party of course\, but it would be nice to be able to say goodbye. T-rex might show up and there's always a chance of sabering...\nCheers\,\nDinka
