An entire month where we'll be pouring some fine darker brews\, from Belgium and elsewhere. From Brewdog\, as well as some friends. If your mind jumps right to "stouts" when talking about dark malt... think again ! We want to offer some quite peculiar styles all dressed in pitch black ! Sours and IPAs will join stouts and porters through all November.\nReady to join us ? We'll slowly reveal the line-up on our FB page in the coming few days... DESCRIPTION:Tin Kocijan\, KU Leuven\nWhy do we put beer in wooden barrels and how do they enhance its aromas and flavours? What do ‘infected’ barrels have to do with wild yeasts that sometimes spoil our beer… or do they? In this first TinTalk we will look at the science behind barrel ageing and what can the barrels tell us about if it matters who comes first - at least when beer is in question.\n---\nEvery month we set the stage for scientists & a producers to take you with them on a journey into the large world of fermentation. Each talk will highlight a different part of fermentation\, from barrel ageing & cheese making to wines\, ciders & vinegars.\n​\nDuring these TIN TALKS we provide some tasters for you to enjoy. TIN TALKS are helt in English. Tickets are always €12.\nTIN TALKS are curated by Tin Kocijan\, PhD student at KU Leuven investigating the microbial ecology of barrel ageing of conventionally fermented beers in order to produce sour beers with a distinctive & layered flavour profile.

DESCRIPTION:Pour fêter la sortie de leur « Guide 2024 »\, on vous concocte une soirée en collaboration avec Tartine et Boterham !\nLe concept de la soirée "1 bière\, 2 tartines" ? Tu achètes un ticket (10 euros)\, qui te donne droit à 1 bière + 2 tartines\, une sorte d’ "accord pain/bière" spécialement conçu pour l’occasion. C’est un peu en mode "tapas du soir"\, tu peux venir en mode apéro pour une heure ou passer la soirée\, manger\, boire ou juste discuter. Sur place\, tu trouveras aussi la carte habituelle de Mazette (food & drinks). Last but not least : ce jour-là\, tu peux aussi acheter le Guide 2024\, qui sera vendu exceptionnellement au prix de 10 euros (au lieu de 12).
