SUMMARY:Kanunnik Field Trail
DESCRIPTION:In Limburgs Hapsengouw\, tussen glooiende heuvels en kleurrijke fruitgaarden\, daar ontmoeten we elkaar. Wanneer je vanuit Stayen\, Sint-Truiden doorkijkt naar het Westen zullen je ogen vallen op het mooie Wilderen\, gekenmerkt door Haspengouwse hoeven die zich verzamelen rondom Brouwerij en Distilleerderij Wilderen. Dit deel van Haspengouw wordt ook wel Vochtig-Haspengouw genoemd en is een internationale trekplijster voor liefhebbers van de jaarlijkse “bloesemfeesten”. Gezellig sporten en gezellig genieten tussen de gezelligste mensen in Wilderen.\n\nHet biertje dat deze keer wordt meegenomen in het trail verhaal is de Kanunnik Tripel\, een bier dat even goed het bijhorende parcours beschrijft: Zachte kruidige tripel met milde afdronk. Na het lopen van je routes kan er ruimschoots uitgeblazen worden op het uitgebreide terras dat binnen de muren van het brouwerij ligt.\n\nHet parcours van de Kanunnik Field Trail is enorm gevarieerd door kronkelende passages door het groen\, af en toe een open lange rechte strook en gezellige doorsteken door de velden. De routes vertrekken allemaal via de lange startstrook in de richting van Duras. De 6km ronde splitst op tijd af om niet te ver van het centrum van Wilderen af te dwalen en keert na een mooi ommetje terug via het Zuiden van de brouwerij. De langere rondes gaan nog iets meer naar het Noorden en passeren Provinciedomein “Het Vinne”. Via Zoutleeuw en Dungel keren we daarna terug huiswaarts om uit te blazen op het terras van de brouwerij.

We were charmed by their brews immidiatly and where even more surprised that on a cold march day on of the head brewers called us to develop a collab around red rice yeast.
