Zenne y Frontera Single Barrel Release 2022

In January 2020, we went to the traditional sherry region in the south of Spain to source our own sherry barrels for our Zenne y Frontera projects. While tasting and selecting the barrels for the next series of Zenne y Frontera, we chose the most outspoken ones to make this series of single barrel sherry lambics.
The selected Amontillado, Oloroso and Palo Cortado casks held sherry for over 40 years.
We took our own brewed lambik, that aged for over two years in foudres and we matured it for an additional twelve months on these three distinctively different sherry wine barrels. The lambik was then bottled directly from each barrel. We corked the bottles manually on a typical Burgundy bottle, finished with a high-quality wine cork and a waxed seal. At the time of this release, the bottles have aged for another year in our cellar.
We also had a matching mouth-blown Zenne y Frontera glass made, based on our design, and with the stem and chalice “pulled” from the same glass bubble. We finished the glass with a sandblasted “3” on the foot and the silkscreened classical ZyF line-illustration.--------------

Due to the limited number of packs, the sale will only happen at our physical shop at the lambik-O-droom in Lot, only on Saturday 25th of June as from 12 PM.It will not be sold on our webshop.
