Baz Trio at GIST

This sunday 24th of november, GIST will become a jazz club from 6pm to 8pm, welcoming the Baz Trio for 2 sets of music ! Come by to taste some amazing craft beers served by the delicious Jenlain Delcourt and Jody Lecieux and listen some jazz music !

About Baz Trio :
Nuanced, subtle and sincere, born of the great complicity that unites young musicians, Baz Trio’s music is spontaneous, takes its time and according a great importance to silence and acoustics. The sound of the trio is the result of the aesthetics of the compositions of doublebass player Basile Rahola and the very personal interpretation of pianist Wajdi Riahi and drummer Oscar Georges.
The diversity of the interpreters is a force where the inspiration of each member enriches the performance. This trio was noticed for its cohesion which gives birth to an eclectic, original and melodic music. They won the first prize at the Mechelen International Jazz Contest 2018 in Belgium for «Best Group» and were finalists at the Zilina international Jazz Contest in Slovakia and Dînant Jazz contest. They recorded an album "Live at Jamboree" in Barcelona and a studio Album for Fresh Sound New Talent Label, out this summer.
