Sven Dekleermaeker, Head brewer at De Koninck has his own cave at the brewery where he experiments with barrel-aged goodies. Together with Sven we tasted and selected 2 nice beers which will go on draft at the bar during Belgium Beer week.

Belgium Beer Week / The Ale Apothecary w/ MatCarbo

The Ale Apothecary is an American brewery. The brewery creates totally natural barrel-aged beers, using ingredients off their land or sourced nearby from Oregon farms. MatCarbo is bringing 10 bottles of their finest products. Beware, the sittings are limited to 12 persons. Booking at the bar or by email.

Antwerp Tap Takeover day 1

Thursday the 27th we’ll be inviting 4 Antwerp breweries to host our Beerweek event. As we want to support our locals in these hard times, we found it a great opportunity to showcase Antwerp craftbeer. The following breweries will participate : Vleesmeester brewery (Edegem): They will bring a fresh keg of one of their ‘classics’ on draft + bottles. Tall poppy (Edegem): He has made a collab beer with alvinne witch will be on draft + bottles. Malcroys – hoppy cat (Kontich) A unique batch of the ‘All together’ neipa brewed especially for this evening + bottles.

Belgian Beers pairing Belgian Chocolates

Guided by Antwerp Beer Tours and Choco Experiencia in Antwerp, we choose local beers and chocolates that we found interesting when tasting in your mouth. Will the perfect match for Antwerp Handjes be an Antwerp Beer? This event can be booked but the organization keeps the last decision to cancel in case that local rules don’t allow to take place this event.

Tap take over "Kemker" and dinner

This day is dedicated to Jan Kemker. The last visit was very interesting. We decided to organise a dinner wit him. On the afternoon you can taste some beers on tap and, a 19h if you reserved your place, you can stay for dinner. 4 dishes and 4 beers for pairing and Cedric of Agalmalt can explain oir work on pairing and our visit in Germany.
